When is the last time you have written a love letter? Have you ever written one to yourself? 

 

Words are powerful, and how we speak to ourselves is important — this is a perfect opportunity to treat yourself with gratitude, kindness and support.

 

Make yourself comfortable with a nice cup of your favourite drink, light some incense or a scented candle.

Play some soft music in the background, take some paper and a pen, and start writing about how much you appreciate who you are in this life — how wonderful, special, caring and beautiful a person you are.

Pour your heart out in this letter.

 

Once you are done, fold it into an envelope and store it somewhere special. Or burn it. Or bury it in the garden. Or snail-mail it to yourself… or anything else you want to do with it.
